Jennetto Patrick Meadows

October 28, 1948 — February 25, 2025

Beckley, WV

Jennetto Patrick Meadows (Pat) returned to stardust on February 19th, 2025, with his wife, Wanda Meadows. He laid with his wife, Wanda, and they both gained their wings as planned. They leave behind a daughter, Jennetta Patrice (JP) Meadows, a school psychologist at the Ohio State School for the Blind inColumbus, OH, along with many family members and friends.

Pat and Wanda will be buried beside each other at the Western Carolina University Forensic Anthropology’s body farm, the FOREST. In 3-4 years, they will be dug up to be studied by students. Their bones will be cleaned, sanitized, and stored in the John A. Williams Documented Human Skeletal Collection (JAW Collection), one of the few skeletal collections in the world. Not only will they further the education of forensic anthropology students at WCU, but the JAW collection will allow other institutions and researchers to borrow the skeletal remains for study. Pat and Wanda will live and serve humanity for many decades to come.
