Jasper Jackson “Jack” Lusk, 81, of Pemberton, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018.
Born September 7, 1937 in Pemberton, he was the son of the late Curtis “Broad” and Velva Marie McVey Lusk.
Jack was a retired truck driver for Seaway Lumber. He was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church and the Crab Orchard Hunting Club. He enjoyed the Bingo & Lunch Bunch at Coal City Senior Center. Jack loved hunting, sitting on his front porch and talking to people. He never met a stranger. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorla Whittaker.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Lusk; son, Michael Lusk of Antioch, TN; grandson, Noah Lusk of Wake Village, TX; brother, Alvin “Bud” Lusk and wife Pat of Bedford Heights, OH; sister, Sandra Trump and husband Larry of Beckley and special friends, Allen Lester and Wayne Davis.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with John Wittmann officiating. Burial will follow in the McVey Cemetery at Sullivan. Friends may visit with the family from 12 pm until service time on Monday.
