James R. Ford Jr (Jimbo),

James Ray Ford, 55, of Beckley, WV passed away on November 27, 2022. Jimmy was born in Gettysburg, PA March 28,1967. Jimmy was always successful when he put his focus and efforts towards achieving his goals. He had too many friends to count and victories in shooting pool, bowling, racing, mechanical solutions, and was always willing to help those in need by providing his time and expertise in his field of mechanics to keep folks on the road. His only admission of a better mechanic was Mr. Sam Pauley who has also entered into eternity. He loved Harleys and anything and all things to do with motorcycles. Those who knew him in his early years enjoyed his sense of humor, charisma and genuine care for others. He was preceded in death by his mother Nellie Rae Ford, and his sister Tina Ford. Surviving family left to cherish his memory are his father James R. Ford Sr, his son James R. Ford III, Brothers and Sisters Chuck and Cindy Childs, Brian and Amanda Ford, Nieces and nephew Madalyn Childs, Bryce and Kendall Ford.

“Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He can have rest at last with his Lord and Savior.

There will be a memorial service held at a later identified time . Reverend James R. Ford of Pemberton Missionary Baptist Church will be leading the ceremony.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Calfee Funeral Home.
