James Alec Bryson, 79, of Beckley passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. Born September 10, 1936 in Beckley, he was the son of the late D.W. and Mary Bryson.
James was retired from the Social Security Administration. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beckley, Beckley Lions Club, Elks Club, Masonic PoAge Lodge #325 in Ashland, KY, Co-Founder and Treasurer of the Raleigh County Veterans Museum and Adjutant in the VFW. James was a U. S. Army veteran.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
A service to honor the life of James Bryson will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Rev. Doc Adkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Office of Development
Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
