Ivan Snuffer

Mr. Snuffer was a retired coal miner and former welder for the US Department of Defense. He was dedicated to the people of the town of Lester, serving as Mayor for over 30 years. He was a member and deacon at the Enon Primitive Baptist Church at Lester, member of Region I Planning and Development Council, active supporter of Sentors Byrd and Rockefeller and Congressman Rahall. Mr. Snuffer was affectionatley know as 'Popeye' and was a loving father and grandfather.
