Irma Lee Amato, 89 of Beckley, WV was promoted to her Heavenly home on February 10, 2022.
Born November 1, 1932 in Beckley, WV to the late Thomas and Susie Sims McGuire. She was a former waitress industry at WV Glass House and Henry’s Restaurant.
In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Guy Amato, sisters June Cook, Corinne Scott and brother Jimmy McGuire.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son Samuel Thomas Amato, 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew and Zachary, 8 great grandchildren Isaac, Brooklyn, Brantley, Levi, Ali, Abigail, London, and Skylar; nieces and nephews J.T. Scott, Guy McGuire, Bret McGuire, Faye Rosenberg and Dawn Louizes.
She was a loving mother and wife, loyal to neighbors and friends. She was a member of Beckley First Baptist Church and attended Bradley Freewill Baptist Church.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Peters officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
