Irene Hutchinson

Irene Black Hutchinson, 86, of Beckley, passed away October 31, 2015. Born August 12, 1929 in Sun, WV, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Black and Margaret Black Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hutchinson, brother, Tony Black and sister Shirley Cales.
Irene retired from the Bank of Raleigh as Vice President. She was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church, Ladies of St. Francis and the Resurrection Choir.
Survivors include her sons, Robert Hutchinson and his wife Nancy of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Samuel Hutchinson and his wife Beverly of Morgantown, WV; grandchildren, Shawn Hutchinson of New York, NY, Julie McGinnis and husband Jonathan of Charlotte, NC, Serenity Hutchinson of Morgantown, WV, Samantha Siebanoller and her husband Eric and great grandchild, Ayden Siebanoller of Morgantown, WV; sister-in-law, Betty Mullins of Angier, NC as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral liturgy will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Wharton officiating. A rite of committal will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Wednesday.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
