Imogene Lucille Hamrick (Lane) was reunited with her dearly departed husband of 64 years, Adam Tate Hamrick, in the early hours of Sunday, January 5, 2025.
She was born on March 27, 1933 in her family home on Mountain View Road in Summers County, WV. She was the oldest of 11.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Arlo Lane, Edith Irene Lane (Bennett); siblings, Betty, William (Bud), Clista, James, twin infant brothers Billy Joe and Bobby Dean and son-in-law, Pastor Randall C. Warden.
She is survived by her children, Lyle Thomas (Sandi), Larry Bryan and Carol Jane Warden; grandchildren, Erin Marie (Philip), Hannah Faith, Hunter Thomas; great granddaughters, Amelia Rose and Lily Grace; siblings, John, Peggy, Rebecca (Sue), Doug.
She retired from Tamarack in 1998 after many years in the hospitality industry. She enjoyed gardening and baking as well as loving and encouraging her family. She was also an active member of her church both in West Virginia and Oho.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Faith Community Church, 299 Grey Flats Road, Beckley, WV with Pastor Jason Lowe officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
