Ilene Vivian Bleigh

Ilene Vivian Bleigh, 86 of Beckley, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017. Born February 14, 1931 in Dust Camp, WV she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy Pringle Rowh.

Ilene was a clerk at Kroger and former co-owner of The Place in Rainelle. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Shepherd’s Center.

Besides her parents Ilene was preceded in death by her husband Hubert; sister, Norma Williams and brother, Bernard J. Rowh.

Survivors include her son, Allen Bleigh and his wife Darla of Charleston: daughter, Pat Hudson and her husband Terry of Flat Top; sisters, Evelyn Kukec of Ohio, Dene Vazquez of Georgia and Marge Marshall of Spencer, WV; brother, Darrell Rowh of Ohio; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Waller and Dr. Bob Stoddard officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service Wednesday.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
