Hubert Clemens

Mr. Clemens was a lifetime farmer. he was honored as Southern Soil farmer of the Year in 1991. He was a member of the American Angus Association. he retired from the Raleigh County School system as a custodian at Fairdale Elementary School in 1981. He was of the Baptist faith having last attended the Cove Creek Community Church at Saxon. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Athlene Milam Clemens on march 18, 1996; two sisters, Leeta Clemens and Ennis Clemens Bowen; and by two brothers, Virgil Lee and Beecher.
