Hilda Lee Watkins Lilly, 89, of Beaver, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 following a short illness. Born September 30, 1921 in Clinchfield, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Lacey Virginia Luttrell Watkins. Hilda was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Lilly and sister, Lacye Katherine Watkins.

Upon retirement, Hilda helped open the Shady Spring Public Library, where she worked as assistant librarian for seven years.
