Henry Bea McGhee, Jr.

Henry Bea McGhee, Jr, 91, of Beckley, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019. Born December 8, 1927 in Eccles, WV, he was the son of the late Henry Bea and Delia Davis McGhee.
Henry was an optician working for Dr. Lewis Gravely, Dr. George Miller and American Optical. He was a member of Northgate Baptist Church and VFW. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son. Mark McGhee; brothers, Harold, Paul and Sam McGhee and a sister, Jeletta Smith.
Henry is survived by his wife Nellie Louise Blackwell McGhee; sons, Gary McGhee and wife Cheryl of Benbrook, TX, Tim McGhee and wife Regina of Daniels, WV; grandchildren, Britney and Phillip; great grandson, Noah and sisters, Edith Posey, Ida Armstrong and Goldie Brouse.
A private service was held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Craig Stevens officiating. Burial followed in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
