Helen Louise Perdue, 89, of Beckley, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016. Born May 23, 1926 in Raleigh Co. she was the daughter of the late Emory Willis and Viola Hendricks Wilson. In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Freeman Perdue; son, Emory Freeman Perdue; daughter, Kathy Scalf; brothers, Paul, Palmer, Emory and Paris Wilson; sister, Virginia Perdue and grandchildren, David Perdue, Jr., Gary McDonald and John Perdue.
Helen was a member of the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in Macarthur.
Survivors include her daughters, Judith Lewis, Wanda Pike and Melanie Perdue; sons, David and Danny Perdue; sisters, Melba Stanley and Mary Bowles; brother, William Calvin Wilson and numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 4pm Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow at Calfee Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3pm until time of service.
