Helen Geraldine Lilly, 86 of Beaver, WV passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the White Sulphur Springs Care Center.
Born in Leslie, WV on December 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Walter Price Farthing and the late Ruth Underwood Farthing.
She enjoyed a wonderful life while married for 58 years to and traveled the world with her late loving husband, CMSGT Oliver V. (O.V.) Lilly, Jr. Air Force Retired. A Korean War and Vietnam War Veteran.
She will be sadly missed by her rescue puppy and best buddy, Scooter.
She is survived by her loving children Dianna Mancusso of Cypress, Texas and Glenn Lilly of Meadow Bridge, WV
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. And multiple nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Winnie Mae Deck of Crab Orchard, and brother Mr. Willie Farthing of Florida. And was preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.
She was a member of the Crab Orchard Baptist Church.
A private family gathering will be held at the Calfee Funeral Home in Beckley, and entombment will be follow at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B in Beckley.
The family would like to thank all the care takers that cared for her at the various hospitals and care centers over the last 3 months.
In lieu of flowers she would want donations to be made to the Humane Society of Raleigh County Animal Shelter, 325 Gray Flats Road in Beckley, WV 25801.
