Helen Crump

Helen Crump, 98, of Beckley, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012. Born December 19, 1913 at Jenkinjones, WV, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Emling Poszich. Helen was a homemaker and loved crocheting and working in her garden, which she did until the age of 85. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Hurst Crump.
Survivors include two sons, William H. crump and wife Barbara and Andrew J. crump and wife Karen all of Beckley; grandchildren, Kathy Crump of Iowa, Michael Crump of Beckley and Kenny Glaize and wife Connie of Richmond, VA; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Hunter, Joslin, Hannah and Austin; brother, Robert Poszich and wife Shelby of Monks Corner, SC; sisters, Maxine Gillespie of Princeton, WV and Katherine South of Illinois; special brother-in-law, Hubert Clark of Abbs Valley, VA
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Cross Point Church of God, 110 Crescent Rd, Beckley with Pastor Gene Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, WV. Friends may gather with the family one hour prior to service on Thursday.
