Harry Mack Sizemore

Harry ” Mack” Sizemore, 80, of Lester, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 16, 2012. Born December 10, 1931 in Pierpont, WV, he was the son of the late Alvah and Eva Jane Phillips Sizemore.
Harry was a coal miner retiring from Eastern Associated Coal. He was a member of Cove Creek Community Church and UMWA Local 9781. Harry was an avid hunter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Wilson Hall, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Sizemore; son, Travis Sizemore, Sr. and wife Cathy of Lester; Daughters, Melissa Sizemore at home, Tamela Hall of Surveyor, Cynthia Honaker and husband Kevin of Saxon and Renee Pauley and husband Bruce of Lester; grandchildren, Travis Sizemore, Jr., Janice Ann Sizemore, Tabitha Jenny, Christopher Hall, Daniel hall, Samantha Hall, Stephanie Bussey, Mack “Little Mack” Honaker, Emmalea Pauley, Liz Hendrix, Sharda Alexander, Caitlyn Alexander; great-grandchildren, Frank, Silas, Gavin, Gabby, Kristen, Gage, Whyatt “Rosebud”, Casey, Rhiley, Emma, Ella; brothers K.D. Sizemore of OH, Mickey Sizemore of Beckley, Kenny Sizemore of Glen Daniel; sister, Charlotte Brooks of CA.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Ed Harris and Gary Hall officiating. Military grave side honors and burial will follow in the Sizemore Cemetery at Lester. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Cove Creek Community Church, C/O Danny Harvey, 1285 Pine Branch Rd., Saxon, WV 25180-9626
