Harry W. Gowman

Harry Gowman, 64, of Princewick was called home to be with the Lord on September 19^th, 2022 after a long illness.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Vella and Harry Gowman; sister; in-laws; sister-in-law, Nancy Bolen and two grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 39 years, Anita Gowman; sons, Kenneth Gowman and companion, Tiffany Wickline of Princewick, Chris Gowman and companion, Stormie Lilly of Whitby; 9 grandchildren, Lil John, Christian, Braxton, Elizabeth, Harleigh, Maddy, Lil Kenny, Caleb and Raiden; brothers, David and wife Donna of Charleston and George and wife Gladys of Fayetteville; brother-in-law, Jackie and wife Rosemary Bolen; sister-in-law, Betty Jo and husband David White and a host of nieces and nephews.

Harry loved spending time with his family and when he was able loved going out trading. Harry will be missed by many of us.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenny Lambert officiating assisted by Raleigh County crisis Team and Fire Department 115.  Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery at Coal City. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
