Harry Allen McKinney, 69, of Sophia, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018.
Born March 11, 1949 in Sullivan, he was the son of the late Bernard Burdette and Kathryn Jean Pierce McKinney.
Harry was a former coal miner for Ranger Fuel. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. One of his biggest joys was helping other people.. He was a U.S Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife Linda Ann Galloway McKinney; daughter, Ginger Lovell (Gary) of Beaver; son, Steven McKinney (Stephanie) of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Doug McKinney; sisters, Peggy Niday, Billie Cox and Tina Lester.
Service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Roger Pauley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Beckley Veterans Area Medical Center, Hospice Care.
