Harriet Ennis Hedy Teel

Harriet “Hedy” Ennis Teel, 77, of Beckley passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
Born April 13, 1939 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Noel and Elsie Smith Ennis.
Hedy was a retired school teacher for Raleigh County Schools with 26 years of service. She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist in Bluefield, WV where she was a first reader.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Ennis.
Hedy is survived by her husband, Marvin R. Teel; daughter, Alicia Johnston and her husband J.R of Franklin, VA.; grandchildren, Timothy and Sophie Johnston of Franklin, VA and her first cousin, Bill Lee of Dallas, TX.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Vondie Cook, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to First Church of Christ Scientist, 1409 Augusta St., Bluefield, WV 24701.
