Hannah Hochman Selden

Hannah Hochman Selden, 92, of Beaver, WV, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019.
Born June 5, 1927 in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Tillie Hochman.
Hannah was an accomplished and intelligent woman. She graduated Mt. Sinai Hospital as a Registered Nurse and Co-founded Marty's Furniture, TV and Appliances in Beckley. An active member of Temple Beth El, she sang in the choir and was President of the Beckley B'nai B'rith Sisterhood. She was Head Nurse at Raleigh General Hospital and President of Hythe Condo Association in Boca Raton, FL. She was an avid reader and did crossword puzzles daily.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Selden; her second husband, Nathaniel Moser; and brothers Samuel and Harry Hochman.
Hannah is survived by her three children: Sheila Selden of Peru, VT, Stanley Selden of Beaver, WV, Brenda Selden of Quogue, NY; her grandchildren: Sydney Selden of Beaver, WV, Maxwell Selden-Johnson of Peru, VT, and Suni Selden-Johnson of Manchester, VT.
Services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rabbi Victor Eurecki officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family prior to services on October 23rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 pm at Calfee Funeral Home.
