Gerldean Hewitt Gerry Fisher

Gerldean “Gerry” Hewitt Fisher, 73, of Beckley, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 2, 2013.
Born on March 28, 1940 in Marshall County WV, she was the daughter of the late C. Wiley and Elsie Hewitt. Gerry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and retiree from Hills Department Store. She enjoyed quilting, bowling and quality time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Nellie Hill, brother Leroy Hewitt and a son-in-law, Mike Meadows, Sr..
Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Roger Fisher, Sr.; daughters, Cindy Lilly and husband Kenn, Becky Fondale and husband Wes, Cherrie Meadows, Beverly Tolliver and companion John Lafferty and Lori Thompson and husband Tommie; son, Roger “Butch” Fisher and wife Judy; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Marie Kidd; brothers, Clarence, Paul and Dale Hewitt and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 6 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Beverly and Wes Fondale officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
