George Lewis Garner

Dear Father and Great Friend George Lewis Garner, 75 of Beckley passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at home following a long illness with his family at his side.
Born April 5, 1940 in Skelton, WV, he was the son of the late Beecher and Elsie Grimes Garner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nellie Garner and two grandchildren, Butchy and Kirsty Stegal.
George is survived by his wife, Delsa; son Carless Yen; daughters, Deborah Osborne, Connie and Mike Stephens, Terrie Stegal and Robert Fulco, Patricia Gunnoe; brother, Carl and Nancy Garner; sister, Carol and Tommy Bennett; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren as well as many friends.
A memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George E. Garner officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family to assist with expenses.
