Gary Wayne Meadows

Gary Wayne Meadows, 57, of Glen Daniel, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 . Gary accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was ready to be with Him when his name was called. Born July 10, 1955, he was the son of the late Gene Meadows. Gary was a faithful member of the Bolt Church of God for 22 years. He loved spending time with his family, traveling and mowing.
Gary is survived by his wife, Goldie Jane Meadows; Four daughters, Jessica Meadows and her companion Marco of Beckley; Rachael Stover and husband Brian of Glen Daniel; Ashley Meadows and companion Nick of Glen Daniel; Tosha Meadows and companion T.J. Beckner of Glen Daniel; his mother, Juanita Lacey Meadows; granddaughter, Kelsey Breelyn Stover of Glen Daniel; grandson, Jeremiah Tex Beckner of Glen Daniel; adopted son, Major Forest of Glen Daniel; mother-in-law, Ruby Rupe of Beckley; brothers, James (brother by chance, best friends by choice), Dale, John, Howard, Stevie, Dane, Paul and Ricky Meadows; sisters, Teresa Athey and Joyce McDorman; best friends Jack and Donna Shorter, Roger and Pat Ryan, Dick and Frances Radford, Doug and Sherry Lucas and Jay and Peggy Powers; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at the Bolt Church of God with Pastor Randall Pugh officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at the Mills Cemetery in Soak Creek.
Pallbearers will be Nick Fink, T.J. Beckner, Brian Stover, Shannon Stover, Major Forest and Jack Shorter.
