Evelyn Jeanette Hosey

Evelyn Jeanette Hosey, of Crab Orchard, went home peacefully November 18, 2017. Although she fought a long battle with health issues, her love of life, faith in God and support from her family and friends allowed her 83 beautiful years on earth.
Born October 30, 1934 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late John Will and Lelia Frances Willis Smith.
Evelyn loved spending time with her family, her church family, and attending gospel events.
Evelyn is now eternally reunited with those gone before her including her parents, her husband of 34 years, George Hosey; son, Kenneth Hosey and fourteen siblings.
She is survived by a daughter, Drema Hosey of Crab Orchard; two sons, John Hosey of Crab Orchard, Gary Hosey and wife Crystal of Beckley. She leaves behind a multitude of loved ones including twelve grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Dale Birchfield and Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
