Eunice Pearl O'Neal

Eunice Pearl O’Neal, 88 of Lester, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Bowers Hospice House. Born April 6, 1928 in Lester she was the daughter of the late Jessie Lawrence and Ruth Haley Cochran. Besides her parents Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene P. O’Neal; sister, Floral Whitenack and infant sister, Peggy Cochran.

Eunice was a longtime member of the Lester First Church of God. She was co-owner of the Pure Oil 76 Station in Lester as well as a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Mike O’Neal of Lester; brother, Thomas Cochran of Phoenix, AZ and two grandchildren, Tracy and Todd O’Neal.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Birchfield officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Bowers Hospice House.
