Eunice was born in 1935, in Sullivan, West Virginia. She attended Bethel Freewill Baptist Church when her health allowed, and cherished her memories of being a member of The Crab Orchard Church of the Brethren through most of her younger years and adult life. When she wasn’t able to attend church she loved watching Dr. David Jerimiah and Charles Stanley on TV. Eunice was a God loving Christian in every sense of the word, and treasured her DVD’s of the Gaither’s. She also loved working bible word search puzzles and Sunday dinners.
Eunice had a very special care-giver and friend, Sue Lambert of Crab Orchard, WV. She loved her so much and she became part of our family. Sue could always make mom smile and always did special things for mom’s best friend, her dog Precious. Our family was blessed to have her love and support with helping with Mom’s needs.
Eunice had two close friends Drema Hosey and Ann Toney who helped with Doctor appointments. She adored these ladies and enjoyed their times of being able to go to Bob Evan’s or Cracker Barrell.
A special thank you to Raleigh General Hospital, 2 North Nurses; Dr. Zafar, MD, and all of the Hospice Nurses who came to the house with only love and compassion for Mom.
