Etheline Dean Floyd

Etheline Dean Floyd, 83, of Mabscott, went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2016 following a short stay at the Bowers Hospice House in Cranberry. During this time she was surrounded by her loving family and friends and the special caregivers at the Bowers House. In the time of her storm in life they accepted her in until God called her home with open arms.

She was born on April 4, 1933 in Mcalpin, WV to Everet Ray Aldridge and Nellie Lorin Aldridge. Dean served as a caregiver to many, including her mother and her husband, Russell. Dean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (Nana) and friend.

She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Russell Lee Floyd on March 2, 2011.

Survivors left to cherish her memories include her son Rocky Floyd and wife Becky of Daniels; granddaughters, Christi Meador and husband Jeff, including their children, Andrew, Evan, Bella and Chiana of Shady Spring and Mechelle Nelson and husband Bert, including their children Briana, Joselyn and Jacob of White Oak. Other survivors include brothers and sisters and many nephews and nieces, all of which she treasured.

Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Clif Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of service.
