Esther Ruth Sterling

Esther Ruth Sterling, 74, of Maple Fork passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
Born May 29, 1944 at Slab Fork, she was the daughter of the late Lacy and Goldie Clark Gray. Ruth was a member of Cranberry Baptist Church. She loved making crafts and working at Beckley Motorsports Park.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Henry, James, Shirley and William Gray.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel Russell Sterling; daughters, Anita Gail Sterling and companion Rob of PA, Angela Louise Bostic and husband Michael of Maple Fork; grandson, Matthew Cameron Mitchem of Maple Fork; sister, Mary McMillion of Glen View; brothers, Charles Gray and wife Margaret of Glen View, Frank Gray and wife gatha of NC and John Gray and wife Beverly of Lester.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Cranberry Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Pauley officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday at the church.
