Ernest Lee Brown

Mr. Brown was a retired coal miner having worked for New River Coal Company and Westmoreland Coal Company. He was a member of the Sprague Freewill Baptist Church and UMWA Local 5770, District 29. He was certified in mine rescue, accident prevention and first aid. Ernest wasa member of the Army National Guard from May 1933 to February 1936 and was a resident of Raleigh County for the past 70 years.
