Elveria May Faw

Elveria May Faw, of Beckley, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Faw, Jr. and her son, Charles Joseph Faw.
She was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 49 and attended Beckley College. She was a loving mother of 4 children and is survived by siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She retired from Stone & Thomas and was a dedicated caregiver for 40 years for her son Charles, a Vietnam Combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient, until his passing. She also served as a volunteer at Raleigh General Hospital.
A funeral liturgy will be 11 am Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church with Very Rev. Father Paul Wharton, V.F. officiating. A Rite of Committal will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 10 am until service time at the church.
