Edward Phillip Zeto

Edward Phillip Zeto, 97, of Beaver, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020.
Born March 23, 1923 in Cittanova, Reggio Calabria,Italy, he was the son of the late Sam and Rosa Gallucio Zeto.
Phil immigrated at the age of 7 to Dehue, WV. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Phil was a retired miner having worked for Younsgtown Mining. He was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Beaver Lions Club.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carla Zorio Zeto and son, Phillip Zeto.
Phil is survived by his son, Michael and his wife Sheila of Beaver; daughter-in-law, Vicki Zeto of Chapmanville, WV; grandchildren, Christina Jones and husband Jeremy, Jon Zeto, Julia Zeto, Chris Zeto; great-grandchildren, Michael and Katie Jones, Austin Lynch and sister-in-law, Linda Zorio of Beckley.
A funeral liturgy will be 11 am Monday, August 31, 2020 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Reverend Mr. Harry Evans officiating. A rite of committal will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
