Dwayne Harold, 56, of Daniels, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016. Born August 19, 1959 in Beckley he was the son of the William Thurman and Reba Evelyn McKinney Harold. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Eugene and Freddy Harold.
Dwayne was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time at the river where he loved to go fishing and at one time was a river guide. Dwayne loved life and savored the time he spent around family, friends and people in general.
Survivors include his sons, Boomer Harold and his wife April and Zachary; daughter, Tamika Cook; grandchildren, Skyla Harold, Emerson J. Cook and Katie; brothers, Keith Harold, Willie Harold, Darrell Harold and his wife Patsy and Eddie Harold and his wife Kay; sister, Shelma Laxton and her husband Danny.
Funeral services will be 1PM Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Calfee Funeral Home in Beckley with Rick Lilly officiating. Burial and private family committal will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
