Drema Brush, 73, of Fruitland Park, FL, passed away on March 5, 2019. She was born on September 6, 1945 in Tams, WV, to Earl and Bertha Lytton. She graduated from Mark Twain High School, where she participated in band and cheerleading. She was a member of Crab Orchard Missionary Baptist Church since December 11, 1966. She was married to the love of her life, Michael L. Brush, USN, who preceded her in death in 2018.
Drema enjoyed cooking and caring for the neighborhood children as well as her rambunctious cat, Doodle Bug. Her great loves were her family, Dr. Pepper, Wint-o-green Mint Lifesavers and Wild, Wonderful West Virginia.
She is the loving and devoted mother of Michael (Lynne) Brush of Arlington Heights, IL, and James (Wanda) Brush of Fruitland Park, FL. Adored grandma to Hannah and Elana. Cherished sister to Sandra (Neil) Horton of Crab Orchard, WV, James (Helen) Lytton of Crab Orchard, WV, and Earlene (Jim) Kincer of Beckley, WV. Beloved aunt and friend to many.
Funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday, March 16, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Derrick Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
