Dora Lee Mullens Brammer, 88, of Coal City, WV, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Bowers Hospice House.
Born on Groundhog Day, February 2, 1934 at Winding Gulf, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Amelia Jarrels Mullens.
Mrs. Brammer was a graduate of Stoco High School. She was a homemaker and spent a great deal of her life taking care of others. She loved sports, with her favorite teams being the Warriors, Nets and WVU.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lawrence Brammer; sister, Betty Roberts and brothers, George, Cecil, Danny, Ronald, Jimmy and John Louie Mullens.
She is survived by her children, Larry Brammer of Coal City, WV, Edward (Susan) Brammer and his wife Susan Brammer of Grandview, WV, and Shirley Brammer Trotter of Coal City, WV; her grandchildren, Billie Patton, Luke (Missy) Brammer, Josh (Melissa) Brammer, Waylon (Lori) Brammer, Chelsea (Brian) Phillips, Teena (Daniel) Lilly, , Kera (Adam) Scruggs; her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Gabriel, Gavin, Nicholi, Levi, Emily, Colton, Walker, AvaLynn, and Elliot; sister, Linda Hunt of Beckley and brother Benny Mullens of Christiansburg, VA.
In accordance with her wishes, a graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Don Kelly officiating.
