Donald Earl Donnie Farley

Donald Earl “Donnie” Farley, Jr., 58 of Beckley, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bowers Hospice House following a short illness. Born August 27, 1955 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Donald Earl Farley, Sr. and Margaret Ann Jones Farley of Beckley.
Donnie worked as an auto mechanic for many years. He was a crew member for a pro stock drag car which he loved very much. He was also an avid racing and CB enthusiast, known by many as “Patches”.
Survivors include his brother, David Farley and wife Kim of Beckley; sister, Cathy Tygrett of Hurricane, WV; nieces and nephews, Casey and Holley Tygrett of IL, Hillary and husband Chris Gore of VA, Cameron Farley and wife Farrah of Elkins , Sonni and husband Dale Cox; great nieces and nephews, Landon Cox, Bailey Tygrett, Maddison Cox, Carter Gore, Adalyn Gore, Breckston Farley. Many friends are left to cherish his memory.
Graveside services and burial will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Perdue officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801.
