Delsie Ruth (Stover) Margison, 78, of Beckley passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 from complications from dementia and diabetes. Born June 20, 1939 in Artie, WV she was the daughter of the late James Early and Luella (Moles) Stover.
Delsie was a former assembly line worker retiring from Parker-Hannifin Corporation in Goshen, IN. She enjoyed reading, shopping and playing bingo. Of utmost importance to Delsie was love of family. Delsie was a person of high moral character with some feistiness mixed in. She was sweet and sassy.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Nancy Stover, Lorene Reed, Evelyn West and brother James Stover.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Price and husband Shane of Martinsburg, WV; sisters, Norma and Nadine Stover of Beckley; brothers, Jerry and David Stover of Beckley, Tommy Stover of Goshen, IN and several nieces and nephews including special niece and nephews Vicki Kimberlin, Joey Reed and Jay Compton.
Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Burton of Beckley Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Saturday.
