Debra Lynn Shumate

Debra Lynn Shumate, 65, of Beckley, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
Born October 1, 1954 in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Margaret Toth Cochran.
She was the former owner of Slick’s License Service / Shumate’s License Service and last worked for Ibex Global.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons, Chad Daniel and Bradley David Shumate; grandson, Brock Shumate and sister, Peggy Daniels.
Debbie is survived by her son, Dustin Lloyd Shumate and companion, Sarah of Beckley; grandchildren, Ava, Ian and Elliot Shumate; sisters-in-law, Karla Long (Scott), Susan Hargett (Tom Jenkins); father of her children, Greg Shumate and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be 1 pm Monday, July 27, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Vondie L. Cook, II officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
