David Lee Crouch

With profound sadness we announce the passing of David Lee Crouch, 65, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather to his family and to all the many friends he had and the lives he touched. He passed on January 19, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. 

Born November 13, 1957 in Rhode Island he was the son of the late, Jimmy and Dorthy Crouch. 

David was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. David remained in Raleigh County, where he worked at the School Board as a bus driver for many years. This was his passion, being a part of the community. A community which we would like to thank for all the prayers and kind words during this time. 

David was loving husband to the late Terri Leah Crouch (Gwinn) a caring father to his children, Erin Lea Crouch and Derek David Crouch, a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, Trinity Skye Redden, Surayia Rayn Crouch, and Emilia Zayne Crouch, and cherished siblings James Crouch (J.C.) and Johnny Crouch. 

David had many hobbies that kept him busy. He spent time with his beloved grandchildren, fishing and trips with his brothers, and was active  member at Tilden Community Church, where he was of the Christian Faith. 

David’s heavenly transition will leave an emptiness where a dependable father and grandfather once was. We thank the Lord for the promise of seeing him again one day. 

Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27,2023 at Calfee Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gene Terry.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
