Danny Keith Smith

Danny Keith Smith, 45, of Beckley, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020.
Born May 1, 1975 in Beckley he was the son of Karen Lynn Brooks Smith and the late Michael John Smith.
Danny was a former tree cutter for Cranberry Lumber and auto detailer for Insurance Auto Auctions. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edgar Smith and maternal grandparents, Marquis and Burnice Brooks.
Danny is survived by his mother, Karen Lynn Smith (Michael Hatcher); paternal grandmother, Evelyn Smith; great grandmother, Bernice Shuck; children, Cassie Cochran of Beckley, Danny Smith, Jr and Tyler Smith of Coal City, Connor Smith of Shady Spring; uncles, Tommy and David Smith, Marquis Brooks, Jr. (Barbara), Michael Brooks (Catheline), James Brooks; aunts, Debra Neal and Penny Jones (Alvin).
Services will be 12 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Friday.
