Danny Eugene Thompson, Sr.

Danny Eugene Thompson, Sr., 65 of Daniels died Friday, September 8, 2017. Born February 12, 1952 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Donald Thompson and Betty Thompson Vickers.
Danny was a retired fire extinguisher tech with Fire Safety Products. He attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Felicity Leigh-Anne Thompson; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Thompson; brothers, Darrell and Ronnie Vickers and step-father, Douglas Vickers.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Moore Thompson; children, Danny Thompson, Jr. of IN, David Thompson of Glen Morgan, Beth Soler of Chattahoochee, FL, Christopher Thompson (Jennifer) of Sherburne, NY; grandchildren, David, Jr., Hannah Elizabeth, Morgan Dawn, Ceayra, Jesus, Katya, Marlie, Madison; siblings, Pete, Jeff, Duane, Regina, Teresa.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, September 16, 2017 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore Cemetery at Ghent. Friends may visit with the family from 12 pm until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Thompson, Chris Thompson, Shaun Crook, Pete Vickers, Jeff Vickers, Duane Vickers.
