Connie Sue Lilly

Connie Sue Harrah Lilly, 68 of Crab Orchard went to Heaven September 1, 2022.  Born August 17, 1954 in Mullens, WV, she was the daughter of the late Homer Valentine Harrah and Betty Marlene Heath Harrah.

Connie was preceded in death by her sister Mitzy Layne Perkins and Leslie Ray Lilly, the father of her three children.

She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren who she loved and adored with all her heart.  Connie was a very sweet, friendly and kind person who never met a stranger and could start a conversation with anyone.  She will be dearly missed by family and friends and remembered as someone who was always thinking of others first.

Family left to cherish her memory include her son Leslie Ray Lilly II of Coal City, daughter Andrea Hopkins and husband Ronald of Beckley, and daughter Sharon Cornett and husband Chuck of Beckley.  Brothers and sisters include Jimmy Harrah and wife Lorretta of Pemberton, Kathy Riddle of Coal City and Saundra Deutsch and husband Joe of Pittsburgh, PA.  Grandchildren Haley Morris and husband Jeff, Heath Green, Madison and Dylan Cornett; Angel Lilly along with several other nieces and nephews.  Also, her longtime companion Curtis Ratliff; Tom & Jerry her two special cats.

Services will be held at Calfee Funeral Home September 6, 2022 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tommy Lilly officiating.  Family will receive friends in the hour prior to service.  Burial will follow at Hot Coal Cemetery.
