Speedy never met a stranger. Everyone he met was immediately a friend, and he was happiest when surrounded by people. He was upbeat and positive, and faced life’s challenges with a smile and with laughter. He was always a hard worker, and there wasn’t much he couldn’t do when he set his mind to it.
He cared for his elderly parents until their deaths, and he did that with a smile as well. He made sure they always had what they needed and was a constant and steady presence for them both.
Speedy’s brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews were his whole world. He loved nothing more than to visit and spend time with his family. He never hesitated to help when any member of his family needed something and it was in his power to provide.
His easygoing and kind nature were a joy to everyone who knew him. His faith in God’s goodness and his steadiness through adversity are the legacy that he leaves his family. He was the very best, in all the ways that matter most. We look forward to the day we will be reunited with our precious Speedy in the presence of our Lord Jesus.
