Christina Mae Pack

Christina Mae Petry Pack, 87, of Beckley went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 23, 2009 in a Beckley hospital. Born April 8, 1922 Oxley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie “Bee” and Cora Miller Petry. Mrs. Pack was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Emery Darrel Pack, brother; Lee, Kelso, Carlos and Nathan Petry and sister, Marie Freeman.
Those left to cherish her memory are five sons; Calvin Pack of Hilltop, WV, Roy Pack and wife Roseanna of Beckley, Roger Pack of Beaver, WV, Larry Pack and wife Ellen of Pipestem, WV, Michael Pack and wife Pam of Beckley, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, special cousin who was like her sister, Christine Raines and special friend and neighbor, Bob Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Grandsons; Alan, David, Jason, Travis, Chris and Jeff Pack will serve as pallbearers.
