Chloie Marie Falin Thomas

Chloie Marie Falin Thomas, 84, of Princeton, passed through the gates into Heaven on Friday, March 18, 2011. Born June 29, 1926 in Bishop, VA, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Virginia Pearl Smith Falin. Chloie was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, John D. Thomas, and son-in-law, Bill Wood.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, John W. Thomas, son, Robert Thomas and wife Linda of Birmingham, AL; daughters, Gina Sandy and husband Ralph of Lewisburg, WV, Jackie Murray and husband Ed of Conowingo, MD, Becky Wood of Princeton, WV; grandchildren, Robert Thomas, Jr., Rochelle Trucks, Elizabeth Thomas, Jason Halliwell, Ali Sandy, Amy Sosa, Joshua Murray, Billy Wood, John Wood, Kaitlyn Dickens, Jay Thomas, Jodi Thomas; brother, Sidney Falin and sister, Brenda Wilson Lewis, both of Beckley, sister-in-law, Reble Thomas, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ronald Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice Compassus, 1033 Stafford Dr., Princeton, WV 24740.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
