Charles Alan "Cincinnati" Maynard

Charles Alan “Cincinnati” Maynard, 69, of Beckley, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Born May 20, 1954 in Mullens, WV, he was the son of the late Charles Raymond and Margie Harless Maynard.

Charles was a maintenance worker for the Raleigh County Court House for over 27 years. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan and enjoyed following the Independence High school Patriots. He was a member of the Beckley Moose and Elks Lodge.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Marie Maynard.

Charles is survived by his brother, Roger and his wife Elania of Millerstown, PA; nieces, Brooke Maynard of Millerstown, Megan Maynard of Carlile, PA and cousins, Anthonette Shrewsbury, Joyce Griffith, Nellie Harless, Lisa Harless, Danny, Robert and Kenneth Harless, Tina Calfee and Erica Shrewsbury.

Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Monte Mitchell officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until service time. Burial will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor.
