Charles Bowling

Charles Bowling, 40, of Flat Top, died Monday, April 13, 2009 at his residence. Charlie was born on May 9, 1968 in Beckley. He was the son of Bob and Tresa Littlejohn Bowling. He was employed in regional sales by Champion Homes of Clayburgh, PA. He was a member of St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; James and Pauline Littlejohn and Fred and Nancy Bowling.
In addition to his parents he is survived by sons; Thomas D. and Robert R. Bowling and daughter Mary M. Bowling all of Flat Top, many aunts and uncles including Charles Littlejohn and his wife Cora of Beckley, Ed Bowling and his wife Delores of Huntington, WV and Mary Dee Littlejohn of Daniels; numerous cousins including Jeffery Todd Littlejohn of Florida and Raymond Littlejohn of Maryland.

Following Charlie’s wishes his body will be cremated. The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Father Chapin Engler.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, P.O. Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802 or to a charity of choice.
