UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
In Loving Memory of
Celia Ann (Maples) Parker
July 2, 1940-April 10, 2021
Celia Ann (Maples) Parker, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 10, 2021. Celia was born on July 2, 1940 to Cecil Waldo and Kata Mae Maples. She grew up in Beckley and attended Woodrow Wilson High School where she was in the marching band. Afterward she attended Concord College. She attended First Baptist Church of Beckley as a child and much of her adult life where she served many years as a nursery worker.
Celia was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother providing tender care, advice, and encouragement whenever needed. She had a gift for knowing what to say to lift your spirits, confidence, and outlook on many circumstances. Her presence in this life will truly be missed, while the memories and lessons cherished for the rest of our days.
Celia was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Waldo Maples, her mother, Kata Mae Maples, and her brother-n-law, David Knight of Princeton, West Virginia.
Celia is survived by her sister, Ellen Mae Knight of Princeton, West Virginia. She is survived by her son, Craig Stephen Parker, her daughter and spouse, Cathryn Ann Jarrell and William Jarrell, and her daughter and spouse Missy Jane Schoolcraft and David Schoolcraft all of Cool Ridge, West Virginia. She is also survived by her three grandsons, Hunter Jacob and Brennan Mathew Schoolcraft, Elijah Andrew Jarrell and step granddaughter Terra Jarrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Erica Shrewsbury for all her loving medical care.
