Caralene McPeake

Our beloved wife, sister, aunt, and great aunt, Caralene Goodwin McPeake entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2022.
Caralene was born on March 13 1946 in Beckley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Grady Goodwin and Helen Marie Witt Goodwin of Glen White.

During her life Caralene worked at Beckley Manufacturing, Beckley Hospital and Raleigh General Hospital, making many lifelong friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin Arlene, brothers Harold and Ellis Goodwin.

Left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 47 years Jackie, sister Gena Farley of Columbus, Georgia, niece Kim Brooks (Mark Muldrew) of Roanoke, Alabama, niece Elaine Sanda (Mike) of Columbus, Georgia, great niece Casey Sanda, brother Ronald Goodwin and wife Betty of Lake Royale, North Carolina, nephew Ron Goodwin (Rose) of Beckley, great nephew Tommy Okes, great nephew Christopher Goodwin of Vero Beach, Florida, niece Amy Job (Jeff) of Lake Royale, North Carolina, great niece Kendra Job, great nephew Jeffrey Job and great nephew Michael (Mikey) Hilty, mother-in-law Lucille McPeake of Sophia and sisters and brothers-in-laws.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Tolliver and Pastor R.D. Tolliver officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
