Brenda Kay Shrader, 71, of Beckley, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019. Born November 18, 1947 in Minden she was the daughter of Harold Lee Dobbins, Sr. and the late Betty Lorain Dobbins.
In addition to her mother, Betty was preceded in death by two daughters, Tammy Shrader and Tina Cross.
Brenda worked as a courier for S&M Courier Service for many years and was a longtime member of the Family Worship Center. She cherished spending time with family and friends.
Brenda is survived by her husband, George Clifford Shrader; brother, Harold Dobbins, Jr of St. Louis, MO; children, Mary Wilson, Bobby Shrader and Betty Prince all of Beckley, Clifford Shrader, Sr. of Winston-Salem, NC, Ladonna Beckett, Ashley Beckett and Jaylynn Bailey all of MacArthur; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Following Brenda’s wishes she will be cremated. The family will hold a celebration of Brenda’s life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Post 32, 1708 S. Kanawha St., Beckley.
