Billy Kerns Smith

Billy Kerns Smith, 82, of Mabscott, WV passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Born May 19, 1942, in Beckley, WV, he was the son of the late Morris and Elsie Mae Kerns Smith.

After his service with the U.S. Army, he worked in the construction industry. He enjoyed shooting pool and watching television.

He is survived by his wife Christine Swanagin Smith; sons, Jack of Mabscott, WV, Billy Smith, Jr. of Idaho; daughter, Veronica Smith of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; brother, Jack Smith of Florida and sister, Sue Shumaker of Ohio.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 in Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Sam Green officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at Sunset.
